Two phrases that still resonate in my head, How are you doing Johnny? and What am I doing going to the gym, you have a gym right here (referring to work in his backyard). I use that myself when talking to the younger generation and pointing to my backyard.
I've been told and heard when he was working on or fixing something he has two speeds. One is slow the other is stop. One thing for sure is something broke he would fix it better that it was made originally.
To Natalina, Jane, Dave, his extended family and friends. my deepest sympathy.
He was a great man
He will not be forgotten

My dear Cousin Johnny made sure to keep in touch now and again and particularly before each Holiday to extend concern and best wishes showing his deep affection and concern for all family!
John was blessed with a wonderful, caring wife in Natalina and two outstanding children in Jane and "No Problem" David, of whom he was very proud! It was always a pleasure for me to visit and enjoy the banter between Johnny and Natalina with lots of laffs!
John was ever so proud of his and Natalina's garden and happily shared the crop ... I will miss him!!

My godfather was the best you can ask for, my husband and I were very proud to be part of his life until the very end. He was very kind and enjoyed the holidays with the family and friends. His love for food was part of being John, we were always happy to see him enjoying a delicious meal. Rest In Peace until we meet again. We will love you always.

My Uncle John was the best!! He was loving, kind, sweet, thoughtful, caring, etc. Every holiday, every birthday, Uncle John would call extending his good wishes and always asked for the wellbeing of all the family members. I am truly blessed to have had an uncle like John! His passing has left a hole in my heart. Till we meet again, love you!
