Obituary of Edith Meehan

Edith C. (Wilke) Meehan, 92, of Bolton,CT, wife of the late John P. Meehan, died Tuesday April 2, 2013 at home. Born August 3, 1920 in Germany, daughter of the late Otto and Clara (Bangs) Wilke, she lived many years in Jamesburg, NJ, moving to Bolton in 2003. Edith graduated from Hunter College in New York and was an accountant for the Boy Scouts of America. She was a member of the Bolton Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Carol E. and Kenneth Hodder of Bolton, four grandchildren; Jeffrey Hodder and his wife Jessica of Bolton, Meredith Marshall of Charlottesville, VA, David Hodder of Laurel, MD, John Hodder of Newington, five great grandchildren and her companion Margaret Asante.
