Carol, I'm sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, I remember her well and worked with her for several years at the BSA. Some of the conversations I remember included your (childhood ?)home on Hardscrable Rd. demolished to make way for a highway, you and your family and your husband's employer Pratt and Whitney. Also, I have occasion to travel into NYC and travel on the Subway to 68th St,the Hunter College Station, needless to say I think of your Mom each time. We worked well together. I left the BSA before the move to Texas and have since retired from Rutgers. Your fortunate to have had her for such a long time. Bill

Without a doubt, Grandma Meehan was one of the classiest ladies I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I remember going to her New Jersey home in my younger years. I always looked forward to our family visits there. Whether it was playing in the yard or enjoying Grandma's spare ribs at the "bar" I always had a great time. I am also so glad that my children got to know Grandma so well. They too will have fond memories of her. I love you and miss you Grandma.

Grandma Meehan was such a wonderful woman. She became very dear to me when she welcomed me so warmly into her family, and always treated me like I was her granddaughter. I feel very lucky to have had her in my life, and I am so very grateful that my children were able to get to know her and have her in their lives for the time that they did. She was so very special, and she was loved deeply and will be missed. Rest in peace, Grandma Meehan.

I learned a lot from my Grandmother, but probably no better lesson then conducting my day to day life with class and dignity. It is apparent to all when things aren't going your way, but it is equally important when things are going your way. I will miss you dearly grandma.
