Dear Bona family, I am very sorry for your loss. Years ago Eddie and I became close when we were both in a wedding party together. I was saddened to hear of his passing. After reading his obituary and tributes, it is clear that he touched many lives in such a loving way. Whenever we caught up over the years our conversations were always about his girls. Robin called me about Eddie's passing and I'm deeply sorry for everyone. I would be there for the services but I'm out in Arizona with Diana and family as her father is not doing well. We were so very sorry to hear of Eddies passing. We had the privilege of seeing him in September when he was so happy to be invited and reunited with his friends from Cummins at Rusty’s 50th Birthday Party. He was genuinely happy to be there with many many friends. Everyone was just as happy to see Eddie. He used to join us also for our Holiday parties. Kim and Kris, I'm so sorry to hear Eddy has passed. I'm gonna miss my "howdy neighbor". We had many entertaining days as neighbors and he was a special man and friend to Kenny and I. When Kenny passed I knew I could always rely on your dad to help me. I'm heartbroken and hope you find comfort in your memories. He loved you both so much.

Kim and Christina you have our deepest condolences for the loss of your father. I have found memories of all of us at your grandparents farm going back to 10 year's old. I remember talking with your father at Cummings diesel we're our fathers worked together for decades . He would help me when I started out bodybuilding in my late teens and give me advice from his days as a competitive bodybuilder. We ended up at the same gym many years later and ended up training together. After that I would stop by the house from time to time and we would talk about many subjects. He would always ask how my family was doing and made sure we were all doing well. He had a heart of gold and was a true gentleman. He will always have a special place in my heart as well as my father's. We are so very sorry.

Edward Bona… You were a man built on family values that you held strong and true to your precious family. I will never forget how you opened your door to me (and others) when I was a teenager when I needed love the most. I saw first-hand how important your family was. I remember the dinners, the visits with your parents, getting into trouble (sometimes too often—sorry for that). As we got older you still were there. You asked about our friends, our families, jobs, children—you knew who we were. We weren’t just some friend of your daughters, we were family too. You made your way to many hearts in this world and impacted your daughters in such a way that this world is going to be shinning in your memory for a lifetime and beyond.
