Obituary of Rosalie Bruno Esposito
Rosalie C. (Bruno) Esposito, 74, of South Glastonbury, beloved wife of Carmine M. Esposito, passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday May 22, 2016. Born January 8, 1942 in Bronx, NY, loving daughter of the late Alfred and Teresa (Mangone) Bruno, she had lived in Glastonbury for the past 36 years. Rosalie was a loving mother and grandmother and a goodhearted person who always helped those in need. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, preparing big holiday meals as well as meals for the Immaculate Conception Shelter in Hartford. Rosalie also volunteered at the Glastonbury Health Care Center and for the St. Augustine Church Oktoberfest Fundraiser. She was a very creative artist, enjoying painting and gardening. Besides her husband, Rosalie is survived by her son, Carmine J. Esposito and his wife Deborah, her daughter Lisa Esposito and her grandchildren, Juliana and Larisa, as well as her grand-puppy, Ivy, all of Glastonbury. She is also survived by her brother Robert Bruno and his wife Camille of New Rochelle, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 27 at 11am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Road, South Glastonbury. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
