Obituary of Virginia Fresk

Virginia (Vining) Fresk, 96, of Glastonbury, wife of the late Henry E. Fresk, died Tuesday April 24, 2012 at Middlesex Hospital. Born October 30, 1915 in Enfield, CT., daughter of the late Barry and Helen (Humason) Vining she had lived in Glastonbury many years. Prior to her retirement she was a nurse at the Phoenix Mutual Insurance Co. Virginia is survived by stepsons Gene Fresk of Orlando, FL and Neil Fresk of Glastonbury; 4 grandchildren, Brian and Kimberly of Orlando, FL and David and Lauren of Glastonbury; a brother Richard Vining of NY; 3 nieces, Nancy Delany of Southbury, Debbie Frizzell of Hillsdale, NJ, Tracey Ticton of NY; a nephew Jay Vining of NY; 3 grandnieces, Susan McAllister of Colebrook, Heidi Capodanno of Watertown, Hollie Groff of Mableton, GA and 6 great grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 11am until 12 noon in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. A reception will follow at Angelo's Restaurant at the corner of Naubuc Ave. and Main St. in Glastonbury. Burial will be in Enfield Street Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening from 7-8pm for a viewing.
