Dear Diana, Kelli and Shannon... I was a young assistant golf pro when I landed in Glastonbury in 1983. Keith was one of the very first members to welcome me to the area. Working for Don in the pro shop, the pace was fast and the days were long but as President , Keith made the atmosphere around the club a lot of fun. I can remember advising Diana on Taylor Made clubs and giving lessons to the family. 1983 & 1984 were some of the happiest days of my life thanks to Keith. He made an impact on my life that I will never forget. The kindness he showed me is what I try to pass on to the new assistant golf pros that now work with me. He ll be sorely missed. St Francis de Sales said it best, Make yourself familiar with the angels, and behold them frequently in spirit; for without being seen, they are present with you. May choirs of angels sing Keith to his eternal and peaceful rest.

Kelli, I remember your parents so fondly from parents weekend and trips to UConn. Your dad was a sweetheart and left an amazing legacy of a loving family and the inspiring role of a devoted husband. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom, Shannon and all of your family. Much love, Lisa

We wish to pass on our thoughts and prayers to Diana and the family. I have so many fond memories of Keith up at Glastonbury Hills CC. No matter if he won or lost the match, his smile was alway the same. He was a great person, great friend and most importantly an outstanding family man. Glastonbury will miss him. Phil Renison

Our deepest sympathies to all of you. We feel so connected to Keith because the four of us sat outside his office the entire time he worked at McCue. He always came in with a smile and truly cared about what was happening in our lives. One of our fondest memories is the day after the Red Sox beat the Yankees in the World Series and we decorated his office with Red Sox memorabilia. How he laughed-and being the true gentleman he was-he left the decorations up for the entire day and took all our razzing with a smile. He was a class act and has left a void that can never be filled. We are honored for having had him in our lives. May Keith rest in peace. Love, Brandi,Gina,Lori and Donna

Keith and I are from East Hartford. That’s probably how we first connected. We worked together at Hartford National Bank. I learned that Keith was a man who did business like he ran his personal life. Based on his career path one would think that he was a numbers guy. Actually the strength that he portrayed had to do more with his people skills. Keith was always there. He answered his phone, he always returned calls, and he invariably found a way to help or to refer the caller to someone who could. He selected his affiliations well; husband of Diana, a Yankee, a Giants fan, a tireless worker for the Jimmy Fund. His family was his pride and joy. He spent his time well being there for his daughters Kelly and Shannon. I think of Keith mostly when I’m on a golf course. We did not play golf together often; he was out of my league. However, he made a lasting impression on my game strategy. He told me early on that you should select a “longer” club than you think you need. In that way you won’t swing too hard. That was Keith; he was always trying to help and he almost always made good contact without swinging too hard.

If the value of one's life were measured by the amount of love and laughter in one's heart, then Keith's life was full of richness. Rest in peace our friend ... You will be missed and always fondly remembered.
