Our condolence message says it better, but know that we will miss Esther's sense of humor the most. She was a presence. She loved life to the fullest. She was the BEST Italian chef on the planet. (We should have bottled that sauce when we had the chance! ). There is no one like Esther and our hearts go out to all of you.

Esther was many things to many people. Mother of the woman I love, sister, aunt, gandmother and comforting freind to the "girls". I am glad that I had the chance to meet you and get to know you. I will miss our lively discussions about politics and the Yankess/red sox! Most of all I am going to miss your meatballs, sausage, peroni and spinich bread at family holidays! I take comfort in knowing that you are in a better place and with your beloved Lou. we will all chersish our memories with you.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rick, Diane, Debbie, and families. We are saddened by the loss of Esther in our lives. She was a caring woman with a terrific sense of humor! She used to tell us that she had trouble keeping up with all of you, but we think everyone had trouble keeping up with her! Her energy and enthusiasm filled any space she occupied. She filled our hearts with laughter and she filled our stomachs with some of the BEST Italian food in the world. (She should have bottled that sauce while she had the chance!) Kate was wishing she still had some of Esther's bread in our freezer. . . .No matter how hard we try, we can't duplicate her masterful Italian cooking. There is no duplicate for Esther. . . .period. Take comfort in the knowledge that Esther lives on in her children and grandchildren. Her presence has touched us all in so many ways and she will be missed. She reached out to Kate and Haley and was like a third grandmother to them. Please know that we love you all and will support you in any way we can during this difficult time. Love, John, Robin, Kate, and Haley

Debbie, Diane and Rick and family, So sorry for your loss. I know how close you were to your Mom. She was such a great lady. I remember her story about how she used to hide a jar of pickles when she was young because she loved them so much she didnt want to share any..So of course on her birthday I got her the biggest jar of pickles I could find...She had the greatest stories. You are all in my thoughts and prayers..Hold on to the great memories of her.

We'll always cherish our many years with Gram - her delicious antipasta, playing setback until the wee hours of the night, watching in awe as she did 1,000 piece puzzles and all of our meaningful conversations about life adventures, her most recent casino winnings and of course, boys.
She will be forever missed, and these memories will continue to bring a smile to each of our faces. Love you Gram! We're comforted to know you are back with your honey :)

Remembering all the great times growing up in Bloomfield. Esther never came to the bus stop in the morning to see us off without all of her make-up and hair in place. Esther was our June Cleaver of the neighborhood.
