I was surprised & saddened to hear of Doug's passing. I had known Doug since playing hockey with him in High School and while picking tobacco for Dufford's farm. We played on the same "Highlanders" team and shared a few cold ones through the years. Doug had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. He'll be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, buddy.

Dear Bill,Sally and Cindy,
I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Maybe you don't remember me ,but I do have many memories of the young people in our neighborhood. Doug was a bit older than my boys and daughter, I remember him.
Peace and comfort to him and to your family.
Most sincerely,
Gloria Santostefano (Feisthamel)

I was so saddened to hear of Dougs passing. I work in California and spoke with Doug frequently on the phone. I truly enjoyed his sense of humor and through the years we built a nice friendship. My prayers are with you and will carry Dougs memory with me.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss. Of the nine years I've worked with Doug, I can recount many times he brought a smile to my face whether it was from his lighthearted joking or our talks of fishing and the big one that got away... he'll certainly be missed here. Wherever you are Doug, go catch that big one buddy!
Tight lines and screaming reels. - Jeff
