Obituary of Gary Gerstung

Gary W. Gerstung, 63, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Terry ( Balesano) Gerstung, died Saturday April 21, 2012 at Mid-State Hospital, Meriden. Born June 14, 1948 in Chicago, IL, son of F. William and Betty Gerstung of California, he had lived in Glastonbury for the past eighteen years. Gary was an investment consultant. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a son Garrett W. Gerstung and his wife Allison of Georgia, a daughter Heidi N. Gerstung of Colorado, 2 brothers Dennis Gerstung and his wife Helen of Alaska, Greg Gerstung of California, and a sister Gayle Skinner and her husband Terry of California. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, April 25 at 11:30am in the Gilead Hill Cemetery, Hebron. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to Protectors of Animals, P.O.
