Obituary of Stephen S. Yarsawich, Sr

Stephen S. Yarsawich, Sr., 98, of East Hartford, beloved husband of 70 years to Barbara (Sperl), passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2015, Born in Hartford on November 24, 1917, he was one of the six sons of Michael and Catherine (Simka) Yarsawich. Stephen graduated from Hartford High School, then went on to study mechanical engineering. He was employed for many years by the Fuller Brush Company and when that company relocated out of state he went on to work for the Stanadyne Corporation. He loved to travel and his entire family circle can attest, he had a passion for taking pictures of all life’s moments. He will be dearly missed by his children, Stephen, Jr., of Las Vegas, NV, and daughter, Ellen Sargent, and her husband Harry, of Windsor Locks. He was predeceased by another son, William, with whom he is now reunited. His memory will also be with his sister-in-law, Nancy Thibodeau, of East Hartford, and many beloved nieces and nephews and their families. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
