I am very sorry for the loss of your mother. Rita was a classy lady who knew how to get things done. I had the pleasure to work with her on a number of occasions and I came to rely on her vast knowledge regarding safety issues. The Town of Glastonbury is a much better place because of her work for the safety of school children.
She will always hold a warm place in my heart. She will not be forgotten.

Jerry truly loved Rita. Not only was she his boss for many years, she was his friend. Through Rita he met her entire family and so did I: many of them worked with Jerry in the moving business and a few were moved by Jerry and his guys. I got to know Rita through Jerry and really liked her. She was a very special lady. She is with Dick now and I am sure they are talking about how blessed they were to have such a nice family. May you all find comfort in your memories and faith.

I am so sorry for the loss of such an amazing woman that I was blessed to have as my aunt. I have so many fun and loving memories growing up of aunt Rita. I remember the 3 Cyr sisters standing in aunt Rita's living room singing in harmony "My hat has 3 corners" as memere looked on so proud of her girls. She was always full of life, love and loved her family so much. I will miss her but I know there is a fun card game in heaven right now with uncle Dick and my mom and dad! I love all of you and your very much in my thoughts and prayers.

Rita Gagnon was one of the finest people I have ever known. She went above & beyond as a professional, mother, wife, daughter, even as a neighbor. She worked with dedication, courage, and most of all compassion. I will always cherish her freindship and the special lunches we shared. Heaven is enhanced by her presence.

To Yvonne, Maurice, Paul and John,
My faith tells me my dear friend is with God and there is no more pain or suffering. My human nature feels sad that she had to go through such torment and I couldn't go see her because she wouldn't know me. We have been friends since we were in the 6th grade when I was taken out of public school and put into St. Mary Academy.
But you have lost a loving mother and I want you to know you will be in my prayers as well as Rita and Dick. Trust in God that everything is as it should be right now and that your Mom wouldn't want it any other way.
Much love
Irma
