Obituary of Linda Jessen

Linda Price Jessen, 61, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of Warren A. Jessen, died Wednesday August 3, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. Born November 18, 1949 in Hartford, daughter of Arnold and Genevieve (Pauquette) Price of Cocoa Beach, FL, she had lived in Glastonbury since 1999. Linda taught school in Middletown for 37 years and was a Kindergarten teacher at the Van Buren Moody School for many years. She graduated from the University of Connecticut and received advanced degrees from the University of Hartford and the University of Connecticut. She was a member of the Middletown Federation of Teachers. Besides her husband and parents she is survived by a daughter Emily Jane Jessen of Glastonbury. She was predeceased by a sister Carol Price. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Monday August 8, from 4-7pm. Funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
