We were saddened to hear of Jack's passing and we send our deepest condolences to Elaine, their sons and related family. It was a pleasure to have known Jack as he was a wonderful person with a ready smile, intelligent, good sense of humor, great chef and particularly skilled at his wonderful pineapple creations. Dear Jack: What a special person you were. We met in Florida on the elevator in Old Port Cove and found you were a Connecituct native/as we were. Then we found that you were our neighbors above us. Then began a wonderful friendship- Florida Fun Drivers, lobster boils, your Baked Alaska, scalloped potatoes with gruyere cheese, Stonington Scallops, sea food lasagna from Pasta Vita, the pineapples at the wine and cheese, Sergio Franchi Concert, and etc. etc. etc. We love you and will miss you very much.
