Obituary of Rose Mastrone

Rose T. Mastrone (Monaco), 86, of Hebron, died on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Glastonbury. Born in Bridgeport, CT on September 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Louise Mastroianni Monaco and lived in Hebron for the last 22 years. Rose was a devote parishioner of the Church of the Holy Family in Hebron and a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed family, friends and being a wonderful homemaker. Our Mom brightened every room she entered and captivated the hearts of anyone who had the opportunity to know and love her. She will be truly missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Mastrone, a brother and sister-in-law Arcangelo and Angelina Ciarmella, two sisters and their husbands, Lisa and Charles Canuel; Mary and William Fitzgerald. Survivors include two children Mark and Karen Mastrone both of Hebron. She also leaves 5 grandchildren Mark Mastone,Jr., Danielle and Stephen Mastrone, Jennifer Askew and Jason Laudenslager and a great grandson Connor Askew as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 30 at 1:00pm in Church of the Holy Family,185 Church St., Hebron. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull. There are no calling hours.
