Obituary of Kyle Cofiell

Kyle J. Cofiell, 23, of Glastonbury, died Thursday April 7, 2011. Born June 22, 1987 in Hartford, beloved son of John L. "Jay", Jr. and Debra (Mansur) Cofiell, he had been a lifelong resident of Glastonbury. Kyle graduated from Glastonbury High School in 2006 and finished his degree at the University of Hartford in December and would have graduated this May. He was a TV Engineer for Fox 61. He was a member of the Glastonbury Volunteer Fire Department and the Glastonbury Fire Cadets. He was with the STN Student Television Network at the University of Hartford and was a Residential Assistant at the college. Kyle had worked for the Glastonbury Board of Education since he was 14 and was a member of the Youth & Family Services and Pass It On. He had raced slot cars for CRB and was a Black Belt in Kempo Karate. Besides his parents Kyle is survived by a brother Kevin M. Cofiell and a sister Kelly L. Cofiell, both of Glastonbury, his grandparents Jack and Patricia (Rau) Cofiell of Glastonbury and David and Diane (Denney) Mansur of East Hartford and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Sunday April 10 from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Thomas C.
