Obituary of Raymond Fecteau

Raymond Fecteau, 66, of East Hartford, husband of the late Ginette (Pomerleau) Fecteau, passed away at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Meyers Beach, FL . He was born in Coaticook, Canada son of the late Leandre and Maria (Cote) Fecteau. He became an American citizen on July 2, 1993. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Knights of Columbus and a French Club member. Raymond will be remembered by his children, Steve Fecteau and his wife Rae Ann of Marlborough, CT and daughter Kathleen Jones and her husband William of Arnold, MO. He is also survived by his sisters Jeanette Gamlin, Margueritte Ouellat, and Monique Desrosiers, and by brothers Fernand, and Leon Fecteau. Grandchildren; Christina, Dillon and Kevin. And one adoring great-grandson Jacob, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Leopold Fecteau and sisters Lorraine Lacasse and Yvette Fecteau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday Feb. 19, at 10:30am in Blessed Sacrament Church, East Hartford. Burial will be private in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00am.
