Obituary of Raymond J. Sinclair

Raymond J. Sinclair, 83, formerly of Glastonbury and most recently Manchester, husband of the late Doris (Bruneau) Sinclair, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. Born October 1, 1928 in Fall River, MA, son of the late Gerard and Amelia (Paquette) Sinclair, he had lived in Glastonbury for 45 years. Prior to his retirement in 1991 he was a Millright for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 34 years. He also owned Sinclair's Driveway Sealer Service in Glastonbury. He had served in the US Navy during World War 2 and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2202 and the St. Paul Men's Club. He is survived by his four children; Wayne Sinclair and his wife Anita of Norwich, Audrey Sinclair and her fiance Kevin Perry of Weymouth, MA, Kevin Sinclair and his wife Lynne Rose-Sinclair of South Windsor, Janice Curry and her husband Kevin of Swansea, MA, six grandchildren Raymond J. Sinclair II, Nicole Sinclair, Jade Rebello, Kelsey Rose-Sinclair, Samantha Rose-Sinclair, Alexandra Rose-Sinclair and a great grandson Antonio Perry. He also leaves his late-life love and companion Jennette Martin of East Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow with full military honors in Neipsic Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, TODAY from 5:30 to 8:00pm.
