Obituary of Florence Bala

Florence Bala, 82, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Newington, CT., wife of the late Edmond Bala, died Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was born January 4, 1930 in Newington, daughter of the late John and Stella Ostrowski. Florence is survived by three daughters and their spouses; Deborah L. and Skip Maxfield, Lori and Kevin Mulryan all of Glastonbury, Gayle and Steve Whitt of Springfield, OH, three siblings; Betty Maxtutis, Gus and Bob Ostrowski. ten grandchildren; Harrison, Brandon (Kim), Alex, Colin, Amanda, Sean, Alicia (Shawn), Ashley, Nathan, Sara and a great granddaughter Alivia and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a sister Dorothy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 16, at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury.
