Walter and Kurt - Although I feel sad to lose Carole, many happy memories flood back from our childhood together and also our early married days, not to mention our more recent long distance adult get togethers over the years. Her death also triggers the memory of the loss of Karen. Your family has suffered premature loss on both counts. God has his reasons, but it is difficult for us to comprehend, isn't it?

I am so sorry for your loss. Luke 20:38 read: He is a God not of the dead, but of the living for they are all living to him. Yes, to God his loyal ones who have died faithful to him, are as good as alive, their resurrection is a certainty. Mr. Walter, please find some strength and comfort knowing that you may see your loved one for over 51 years again soon, she enjoying life and you enjoying her again.

Carole was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She LOVED her family and took lots and lots of pictures whenever she had the opportunity. She will be missed by all that knew her but the fond memories will go on forever in her pictures. I hope you all find comfort knowing that she is at peace now, in heaven with our Lord and her beloved daughter Karen. Prayers, Hugs and Lots of Love sent to all of you - Walt, Kurt, Jenn, Audrey, Jake and Josh.

Mrs. Wiegand was a caring, funny, wonderfully vivacious woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. I will never forget her dry wit or her infectious laughter. A wish that she rest in peace just doesn't seem right for Mrs. Wiegand - I remember her as constantly in motion and can't imagine that has changed much beyond the pearly gates. Even now, somewhere, I imagine she and Karen are terribly busy with all the catching up they have to do. Mr. Wiegand, please know you're in my heart & prayers. Much love - Holly
