Obituary of Thomas Kormylo

Thomas Kormylo, 66, of Glastonbury, husband of Mona (Caron) Kormylo, died Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Manchester Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born January 21, 1948, in York, England, son of the late Stefan and Efrosina (Galach) Kormylo he had lived in Glastonbury for the past 38 years. He was a Vietnam veteran, an avid fisherman, and a recent graduate from Porter & Chester Institute with a certificate in Electronics Technology. Besides his wife he is survived by a son Eric Kormylo and his wife Pam of Enterprise, AL, a daughter Kara Paulauskas and her husband Mark of East Hampton, 2 beloved grandchildren Evan Kormylo and Raleigh Paulauskas, a brother Nick Kormylo and his wife Penny of Groton, a sister Maria Taylor and her husband Bob of Tolland and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten. Funeral service will be held Sunday January 18 at 2:00pm in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury followed by military honors. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00pm. A memorial fund in Tom's name has been set up at the Fisher House Foundation.
