Obituary of Joseph Vinci

Joseph Vinci, 92, of Glastonbury, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at Avery Heights in Hartford. Born April 9, 1922 to the late Carmelo and Agatina (Lombardo) Vinci, he served in the Army during World War II. Joseph worked as a building contractor and remodeled homes for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing guitar and fishing, and was also a very proud heavy varmint sharpshooter. Joseph is survived by his daughter, JoAnn Adams, and her husband Charles, of Glastonbury, and his granddaughters, Deborah and Michelle. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his loving wife, Josephine. A funeral service will be held, Saturday, December 6, at 1 p.m. in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will be private.
