It is truly a sad day to lose such a great person. Steve was a fellow HPD academy class member of 1981 and though missed, will continue to bring fond memories of true brotherhood, camaraderie and a joke thrown in to boot. Sincere condolences to the family.

You're the biggest kid I know! Thank you for teaching me so much but most of all, how to laugh and keep perspective. You will forever be missed by so many as you've had such a positive impact on everyone around you. I know I'll always be safe and comforted with you watching over me. Say "hi" to Grandma for me. I love you and I'll see you again.
Love, Princess.

To the entire Adams family:
Please except my heartfelt condolences on Steve's passing. I worked many years with Steve at HPD and his dry sense of humor will be missed. I will always remember his smile. May he rest in peace in the loving embrace of our Lord/Savior Jesus Christ. Please take comfort in knowing that he is in a most beautiful place.....where there is no pain/suffering....but only love/happiness....and that someday you will all be together again. May God through your faith, give you strength at this most difficult time.

Steve, I 'am still in shock and disbelief that you are really gone. I keep thinking that this is just a bad dream. I have always loved you and respected you for the kind of person you were. You truly are a great man with a big heart. I will never forget the times that we met for lunches and caught up on our busy lives. I will never forget how you have always helped whenever I needed you. You were supposed to call me and meet me for lunch but that never happened... I will hold you to it when I see you again some day. Please know that I may not have seen you very often these past few years but know that I was always thinking about you and hoping that things were good for you because you deserved it. Love " your little one"
