Obituary of Lorraine Noone

Lorraine (Ducharme) Noone, of Glastonbury, wife of the late Thomas E. Noone, died peacefully at home on Saturday July 12, 2014. She was born on August 20, 1923 in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Dr. Alphonse and Beatrice (Nault) Ducharme. She is a graduate of the College of New Rochelle and received her MSW from Boston College School of Social Work. She retired from the Portland School System where she was employed as the Portland Middle School Social Worker. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church in South Glastonbury. She leaves five children, Rochelle Connolly of Sparta, NJ, Thomas Noone, Jr. of Mansfield, CT, Kathleen Green of Carmel, NY, Celeste MacArthur of Guilford, VT, and Steven Noone of Orlando, FL, as well as eight grandchildren, Mike, Kevin, Meghan, Brennan, Thorin, Iyla, Matthew and Nathan and three great grandchildren, Rylan, Amelia and Clara. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 16 at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester, MA.
