Aunt Norma named him the Quiet One, in our circle it was just Q1, under that quiet was a man of compassion who landed at Normandy as a medic and marched to Berlin, taking care of his fellow soldiers, his compassion for his family, friends, his town, neighbors, church, and all those who came in touch with him, set an example for all of us, I have this vision that when Uncle Myles landed at the Pearly Gates, St. Pete swong those doors wide open and announced with passion Q1 has landed, he will for ever have a special place in my heart.
