Obituary of Anita DiMauro

Anita (Maselli) DiMauro, 74, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of Salvatore DiMauro, died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. Born, May 15, 1939 in Hartford to the late Dominic and Henrietta (DiTunno) Maselli, she had lived in Glastonbury for many years and will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew her. A loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Anita, enjoyed cooking and cherished gathering her family every Sunday for dinner. Anita also had a strong faith in God and loved attending her wonderful church, Church of the Living God in Manchester. She had worked for the state for seven years before moving onto Northeast Utilities to work in data entry. Besides her husband, Anita is survived by her son Salvatore DiMauro and his wife Jennifer of Manchester, and her daughter Gina Orbea and her husband Jesus of Glastonbury. She is also survived her stepmother Jean Maselli, seven grandchildren, Edward, Stephanie, Sal, Trent, Jesus, Elijah, and Joshua, and four great-grandchildren, EJ, Olivia, Samuel, and Payton. And siblings Agnes Bellody, Emilia and her husband Ralph, Dominic and his wife Phyllis, and John Maselli. Besides her parents, Anita is predeceased by her daughter Donna, her siblings, Nina, Mary, and Nicolas Maselli, and brother-in-law, William Bellody. Friends may call at the Church of the Living God, 199 Deming St, Manchester; Friday, February 7 from 10am to 12noon with a funeral service following at 12noon. Burial will be private.
