Obituary of Frances Satin
Frances (Sladyk) Satin, 98, of Glastonbury, wife of the late Frank Satin, passed away Sunday December 22, 2013 at Hartford Hospital with her oldest son Jerry by her side. Born April 15, 1915 in Glastonbury, daughter of the late William and Marian Sladyk, she had lived most of her life in Hartford before moving back to Glastonbury. She is survived by 2 sons, Jerry Satin and his wife Clare of Glastonbury, Richard Satin and his wife Wendy of South Windsor, daughter Candy of Glastonbury, a sister Helen Bisi and her husband Larry of Glastonbury, her grandchildren and their spouses; Joel and Nicole Satin of Trumbull, Jason Satin of Glastonbury, Justin and Stephanie Satin of Columbus, OH, Josh Satin and fiancée Kristin of Glastonbury, Jocelyn and Richard Emory of Dartmouth, MA, Adrianne, Nicholas and Melissa Satin of South Windsor and six great grandchildren; Cayden, Teaghan, Brodie, Reis, Elle and Josie and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers; Rudy, Stanley, Edward and Henry Sladyk. Her son Jerry told her when she died that she will always be in their hearts and they have many great memories of her being the most caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Dec. 27 at 10am in St. Augustine Church 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Thursday Dec. 26 from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hebert T.
