Obituary of James Wallace Hart
James Wallace Hart "Wally", 94, of Glastonbury, husband of the late June (Kingsland) Hart, died Wednesday November 20, 2013 at the Apple Rehab in Rocky Hill. Born December 20, 1918 in East Hartford, son of the late James W. and Elizabeth (Hale) Hart he had lived in Glastonbury since 1945. Wally was a Superintendent for experimental tests at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 35 years retiring in 1971. In 1977 he began selling Volvos first at Jackson Volvo in Portland then for Clayton Volvo in East Hartford where he sold his 1000th Volvo. Wally was a member of the Glastonbury Lions Club and the Manchester Country Club. Wally was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his daughter Gail Francis of Glastonbury, a granddaughter Heather Drumm and her husband Frank of Rocky Hill and two great grandchildren Emma and Ryan Drumm. He was predeceased by his son-in-law David Francis and a grandson Bruce Francis. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Saturday Nov. 23 from 1:00 to 3:00pm.
