Obituary of Gail P. Blessing

Gail P. Blessing, 81, of East Hampton, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of James W. Blessing. 

Born on September 13, 1943, in Hartford, Connecticut, Gail was the daughter of the late Ernest LaRocque and Rita (Desautel) Guminiak.  She graduated from East Hartford High School and spent much of her life dedicated to her family. Gail was especially passionate about her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. She also found great joy in spending time with her close friends, whether it was sharing a laugh or simply enjoying each other’s company. Gail’s warmth, generosity, and infectious sense of humor will always be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her husband, Gail is survived by her son, Michael J. Blessing and his wife, Laura; her daughter, Jennifer M. Costanzo and her husband, Jeffery; and her grandchildren, Daniel and Kelly Blessing and Jasper and Aiden Costanzo.

A wake will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury, Connecticut, followed by a short memorial ceremony.  A burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17 Wickham Road, Glastonbury on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Michael J.
