Obituary of Daniel Civiello

Daniel P. Civiello, Sr., 97, of Branson, Missouri, formerly of Lee's Summit MO, died peacefully September 24, 2013. He was born September 8, 1916 in Manchester, CT and lived in Wichita, Kansas, and Minneapolis, Minnesota prior to moving to Kansas City in 1951. He was employed by Hamilton Standard Division of United Technologies for 50 years before retiring in 1986 as a Product Support Rep. He was a member and usher at Nativity Church in Lee's Summit, as well as a member of Hamilton Standard Retiree Club and a member/officer of the local AARP. He is survived by four children: Mary Civiello of NYC; Nancy Gifft of Ithaca, NY; Daniel Civiello Jr. of Kansas City, KS; and James Civiello and his wife Patricia of Branson, MO; 7 grandchildren; a sister Ann Kelly of Newington CT; and two nieces. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated October 5th at St. Paul Catholic Church, Glastonbury, CT, at 10:00 am; followed by a graveside devotion at St. James Cemetery, Manchester, CT.
