Obituary of Paul Lemke

Paul C. Lemke, 72, of South Glastonbury, beloved husband of Susan (Accornero) Lemke, died Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. Born June 26, 1941 in Hartford son of Helen Lemke of Glastonbury and the late Joseph Lemke, he was a lifelong resident of South Glastonbury. He worked in the Highway Dept. for the town of Glastonbury for 42 years retiring in 2000 and owned and operated Lemke Valley Farms in South Glastonbury. Paul was a captain and 25 year member of the Glastonbury Fire Department Company #2 and the Matson Hill Community Club. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by a son P.J. Lemke of South Glastonbury his mother-in-law and father-in-law Jean and Mario Accornero as well as other members of the Accornero, Draghi and the Berruti families. A graveside service will be held Saturday August 31 at 11:30am in the Green Cemetery, Hubbard St., Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Friday Aug. 30 from 4-8pm.
