Obituary of Richard M. O'Donnell
Richard M. O’Donnell, 85, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Jane (Harding) O’Donnell, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024. He was born on July 12, 1938 to the late Thomas and Mildred (King) O’Donnell in Leominster, MA. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1956 and from New England School of Art in Boston where he majored in Advertising and Design, in 1962. He served as a paratrooper in the US. Army 101st Airborne Division from 1959 to 1961. He then worked at Pratt & Whitney as a technical illustrator and in UTC Corporate in Hartford. He retired in 1988. Besides his wife Richard is survived by his children Deborah, Brian, and Holly, and his step-brother Robert Hembrow (Brenda) of York, ME. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Marilyn Fratturelli. His family thanks the staff at LiveWell, in Plantsville, CT for their dedicated and compassionate care over the past 8 years.
