Obituary of Frederick L. Kowalsky
Frederick L. Kowalsky, 66, of Windham passed away unexpectedly at Hartford Hospital on Sunday, December 31, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Lisa (Cavanna) Kowalsky for 43 years. They were each other's one and only great eternal loves.
Born in Hartford, Fred was the son of the late Emil and Lillian (Ahearn) Kowalsky Arnold. He was also predeceased by his sister Linda Mott and brother William Kowalsky.
Fred grew up in Glastonbury and went to Glastonbury High School and has been living in Windham for the past 39 years. Fred worked construction for many years before working over 20 years at Nabisco in several different capacities, retiring as a dock foreman.
In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his daughter Kristy Milne and her husband Jason of Tucson, his son Kyle Kowalsky of Boston, his grandchildren Rylan Chavez, Cody Milne, Payson Milne, and his great granddaughter Alyiah Chavez all of AZ. His three sisters Patricia Consalvo and her husband Jim of East Hartford, Sherry Kowalsky and her husband Dan Billings of North Windham and Anne Barberino of South Windsor. In addition he leaves his sister-in-law Sue Kitchen of Old Lyme, his brother-in-law James Cavanna and his wife Lynne of South Glastonbury, his longtime friends Bud and Bryan, numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly and his in-laws John and Theresa Cavanna.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
