Obituary of Kali A. (Glazier) Mansfield

Kali Alexis (Glazier) Mansfield, 23, of Glastonbury CT, passed peacefully on 12/28/23 after a long battle with Leukemia at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT while surrounded by those who love her. Kali was born in St. Louis, MO, on 6/27/00 to Michael D. Glazier and Tricia J. Preston. Kali lived in Jerseyville, IL, for the better part of her life where she graduated high school in 2018. She then went on to College at Macmurray with a major in Criminal Justice and dreams of becoming a Forensic Analyst with a focus on blood spatter. In high school and in college Kali was active in soccer, hunting with her brother and step-father (Joseph D. Glazier and Jason A. Preston), coloring, drawing, and watching Harry Potter. She met her husband, while attending Macmurray College (Jacksonville IL), Christian Mansfield of Greenfield IL, now residing in Glastonbury, CT. Together with Christian at her side she beat Medulloblastoma, pediatric brain cancer, at age 19. Kali is predeceased by grandmother Adrienne Taylor, grandfather Douglas Glazier, and aunt Sandra (Glazier) Thomas. Survived by her beloved Chihuahua Mia Marie Mansfield, her adoring husband Christian Paul Mansfield, her father Michael Glazier and wife Allie Glazier, her mother Tricia Preston and husband Jason Preston, and siblings Joseph Glazier, Lily Preston, Mackenzie Glazier, Todd Preston, Rebecca Glazier, step-siblings Mathew, Anthony, Ashley Joia, grandmother Geraldine Glazier of Glastonbury, CT, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A special thank you to the Staff, Nurses, and Doctors at Hartford Cancer Center and on CB2. Funeral service will be held on Thursday January 4 at 11am in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday January 3 from 5:00 to 7:00pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, c/o Fund Development Office, 80 Seymour St., P.O.
