Dear Charlie,
Losing my dear friend, Lorraine has been very difficult for me. We both started working in East Hampton the same year (1977) and we developed a special bond from day one. Lorraine and I had a lot in common including our love of cats, birds and flowers. She always found the most extraordinary cards to send and gifts to give. I was fortunate to be the recipient of many gifts that always made me feel truly special and appreciated. We had a male Cardinal come to our feeders for the first time shortly after Lorraine passed. We named it "Lorraine" and it continued to visit us off and on throughout the year and into the fall. I check every day to see if "Lorraine" dropped in for another visit. I know you must miss her terribly. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for you.
