I remember Martii very fondly from many years spent in Glastonbury. I knew her because she and my husband, William Rogers, worked together on Glastonbury community responsibilities. When he passed, she continued to be in touch with warmth and kindness that I remember with gratitude many years later. My condolences to her family and friends. I'm unable to attend Martii's Funeral Service today, but will be there in spirit.

I worked with Marti at the Hearth at Glastonbury and she was loved by the employees as well as the residents. She was always cheerful, patient, kind and witty. Her fashion sense was admired by all and one of the things we shared in common. We all missed her when she left the Hearth and I know she will be missed by so many now. A beautiful soul joins so many others in heaven!

Please accept my sincere condolences to the family of Marti Curtiss. I was Christopher’s kindergarten teacher and was blessed to develop a wonderful relationship with Marti. She was a beautiful lady , inside and out! I was so sorry to read about her passing! My love to you Christopher!!!

My deepest condolences to Marti’s family. I was very fortunate to get to know, Marti, over the course of this past year. She attended the incredible, Write From Your Heart classes which were developed by her daughter and my dear friend, Linda. These classes were conducted via Zoom. I would call her, “mom,” and she seemed so engaged and happy to be part of the reading of our work and subsequent discussions. Linda did a fantastic job including her. I’m lucky to have gotten to know her! Rest in peace, Marti. Sending love and prayers, Shauna

What service Marti rendered to Glastonbury for years. Her obituary captures her remarkable life. I knew her as Sandra’s mother, and an amazingly resilient woman who raised 4 beautiful daughters, and one incredible son. I’ll remember her smile and youthful charm, the glint in her eyes, as well as her poise and easy elegance. She made me feel welcomed in her presence, like one of the family, and I enjoyed my time with her in Glastonbury, and in Alexandria when she visited. She will be missed by so many, but her legacy will truly remain. My heartfelt condolences to all the family and friends, and especially to my dear friend Sandra.
