Obituary of Edward J. Sullivan
Edward “Eddie” Joseph Sullivan, 78, of Manchester passed away peacefully at home on October 25, 2023. Eddie was born in Springfield, MA on November 12, 1944. He grew up in Windsor, CT and graduated from Windsor High School in 1962. Prior to retiring in 2006, he worked for DHL and was a member of Teamsters Local 671. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a loyal member of the CamJammers Auto Club and RIMS Fishing Club. He loved classic cars and all things automotive, especially his 1966 Chevy II Nova.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years Gale (Bycholski) Sullivan of Manchester; daughter Erinn and her husband Brian Clifford of Simsbury; son Scott, his wife Sarah, and three step-grandchildren: Brandon, Kayla, and Julia of Tolland; brother D. Timothy and his wife Kendra of Enfield; sister Julianne Wilkosz and her husband Frank of East Hartford; sister-in-law Dale Bycholski of East Hartford; brother-in-law John Bycholski and his wife Margaret of Vernon; his best friend Mark Roncaoli of East Hampton; a niece; nephews; cousins; friends; and his constant companion and grand-pup Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Frances (Zieminski) Sullivan.
The family will greet family and friends at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury, CT on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 9:00am-10:30am, followed by funeral services at 10:30 in the funeral home.
