Dear Joh and Zavalick family,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved father and grandfather. I have warm memories of he and Mrs Zavalick stopping in at the Farm (Cold Spring in Berlin) to pick off fresh veggies prior to heading out to the Cape. My late mother, Lee (AKA ‘Molly’) immensely enjoyed those visits. Apparently she was a classmate of your mother/grandmother.
My sincerest condolences
May warm and happy memories spread across your lips as tears of grief stain your cheeks
Best regards

Dear Zavalick family,
So sad to learn of the passing of my good friend Ted. We worked together for over 30 years and we spent most every lunch hour together. We enjoyed many evenings of dinner together along with going to UCONN basketball with Teddy and Kay. We enjoyed those evening out and games for many, many years until they moved to the cape house. We still managed to discuss most of the current games over the phone these last few years. Teddy had a remarkable memory of players and games from many years ago during our UCONN basketball conversations.
My Prayers and though with you.
Long time friend Jim Peta

To Ted’s big beautiful family…First and foremost Steve & I send our sincere condolences to you all. As Betsy well knows, I met Ted and Betsy on the sidewalk. We were searching for an apartment on Commonwealth Ave in Boston since we both were attending Boston College. Bets was with her dad and I with my mom. Well, if it wasn’t for our parents, we would have never met. Ted was the kindest, sweetest, most genuine man and because of that, my mom said, “you’re rooming with Betsy.” Well, from that day forward, the wonderful memories started with the Zavalick family that I will cherish forever. Your kind-hearted dad is with your sweet mom now, but they both will be missed dearly. Ox

John, Sharon & Betsy,
As you know Rosemary and I shared many, many memories of your Dad, as well as your Mom. Over the years we developed a strong friendship and also became traveling friends. Our trips together included, Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy, Washington, DC, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Maine to name a few. But friendships make the memories, not the places. Your Dad was the nicest, kindest man I ever met. The happy times come and go but the memories are forever. To add to my memories, I was lucky enough to also have lunch with him this past May. Love to you all.
