We have been blessed to have been a part of the Pahl's lives over thirty five years. Rosemary was always very "up" even in her suffering. She had great faith and loved her family beyond measure. Kurt was her soul mate. Rosemary was so proud of her grandsons, Michael and Thomas, and of her daughter Marie. She was a bright light for our Marriage Encounter Circle in Glastonbury and will be forever missed. We love you Rosemary and you will always remain in our hearts. Tom and Carol

I was so shocked and saddened to read about Rosemary in the Citizen. You both were so helpful and compassionate after we lost our daughter and provided so much comfort. I know you had a wonderful life together and hope those beautiful memories will help ease the pain of your loss.

This is Tommy DeMille, I was very good friends with Michael. I remember Mrs. Pahl very fondly. I don't have any specific stories to share but I would like to share the fact that I have thought of the Pahls frequently over the years and I always have appreciated what a nice, warm, and loving mother Mrs. Pahl was. I know that Michael loved her dearly, and I always appreciated how open and warm and fun their family was, and how graciously they allowed us to inhabit their space and screech out incredibly loud rock music from our forming band in the family room. Rest in peace Mrs. Pahl.

There's only one way to describe Rosemary: The Best! She related so well to young people and always was there to lend an ear or a helping hand. Her spiritual, kind nature, is one I will borrow from her hence forth in life. You will be missed so much Rosemary. Until we meet again…..

I was fortunate to have known Rosemary as both a parent and then later, a coworker at Hebron Avenue. I so loved her gift of description when telling me of a movie I should see or a book I should read. My favorite was when she told me that a particular movie (The Red Violin) was 'most delicious'! Please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time. I'm sure your memories will help you through the days ahead. Sincerely, Linda Erickson

Dear Kurt and Marie and family. We are so deeply saddened about Rosemary's passing. We are so glad we had the chance to see her this week. She is a beautiful lady and we will miss her. Kurt and Rosemary have been so inspirational to us and many other married couples. We are honored to know the Pahl family.

Dear Marie, I am so very sorry to read of your dear mother's death. I met her only at your brother's wake service. She was very gracious in spite of her deep sorrow. Please know that I am thinking of you at this very sad time. Grace Lineberry (formerly at Lawrence)
