Mrs. VanSkiver taught me so many things throughout high school; not just ESL or History of The world. She showed me how passionate one can be about the things they love most. I will forever carry in my memory the times I would spend in her classroom laughing about how to properly spell her last name, or learning a new word. She will forever have a piece of my heart wherever she goes.

Kristin was an amazing teacher and friend. I miss her smile and conversation in our hallway at school and the good times we shared outside of school.

Sincere condolences to Kristin's parents, Adam and the children. I will always remember her as a lovely little girl who always gave her best to everything she did. As an elementary school student, she was exemplary. From reading her obituary, I see she carried that positive character trait with her the rest of her life along with wonderful memories for all those close to her. She is a prime example of a life well-lived all-be-it way too short for those left behind.

So sorry to hear about Kristin passing. I truly enjoyed her friendship in our early years and playing sports by her side. Watching her niece play reminds me of her love for the game. My heartaches for all who knew her, my love to her family.
