It was with sadness that I read this morning (August 12, 2023) of Walter's obituary.. As a member of DAV Chapter #13, I looked forward to seeing Walter each month at our meetings. He was always in attendance, and drove himself to our meetings. Amazing for a man of his age, he was an inspiration to all veterans. I remember him standing with us at several locations, helping us to fundraise at shopping centers. He was always engaging, and I enjoyed having conversations with him. Walter, you will be missed and God Bless you and your family.
