Obituary of Araceli Garcia

Aracelis Garcia, 47, of South Windsor, passed away too soon, on May 4, 2023. Aracelis was born on June 4, 1975 to Rosa Ayala in Boston, but was raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.

Aracelis graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014. She served her community valiantly as a nurse before transitioning into case management. She enjoyed going to work in her glamorous business attire and skyscraper heels. She ended her career strong, as the boss woman that she is.

Aracelis dedicated her life to being a fantastic mother. She was the glue that held our family together. She covered us all through her faith in Christ, and with her prayers over our lives. Her laugh was infectious and filled every room. Her luminous spirit was always the first thing to walk through the door... besides her extra-long lashes. Her beauty was infinite, on the inside and on the out. Let us all strive to live our lives boldly, and with the confidence of a Vogue model, like she did.

Aracelis is survived by her daughters Precious and Angelese, her son Ricky Jr, and her first grandchild Ahmir Jr. Precious is an upcoming RN, following in her mothers' footsteps. Ricky graduated high school with Honors and is using his mothers' strength and faith to carry him through his journey to find peace and prosperity. Angelese is undoubtedly an Ivy League prospect, both on the basketball court and in the classroom. The light that shined within Aracelis shines within them, and her legacy will undoubtedly carry on.

Her physical body may be gone, but her spirit lives on forever. She is in Heaven dancing with her best friend Jesus Christ.
