Obituary of Donna Brown Finn

Donna Brown Finn, 62, of Glastonbury passed away peacefully at home Saturday, April 15, 2023.

She is survived by her three children, Kelsey, Darby and Billy and their crazy dog Jackson, who made her life so special, along with her sister Judi Whitford, and nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. She has been predeceased by her parents, William and Margaret (Finn) Brown, brother Bobby and sister Joy, brother-in-law Bill and nephew Scott.

Donna’s unique spirit touched the lives of many and she was deeply loved by all who knew her. A joyful, generous and kind soul, she will be remembered for her warm, open heart. Donna truly lived by the adage: Friends are the family you choose for yourself. She would like to thank all the wonderful people who have been a part of her journey and made her life a beautiful story

Donna earned her Master’s degree and worked in Special Education for many years where her career allowed her to do what she loved best: nurture children. As an educator, the impact of her intelligence and kindness will reverberate through her student’s lives and the greater school system for years to come. 

Above all, Donna was a devoted mother who loved Kelsey, Darby and Billy with a fierce passion. They were her proudest accomplishment and will miss her tremendously. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the First Church of Christ Congregational, 2183 Main St., Glastonbury at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
