Flanagan. Catherine was born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in Huntington Station, Long Island, NY, by her loving parents, Leonard and Nellie Lynch, with her brother Michael Lynch. After marrying Tom, they moved to Norwich, CT, and raised their seven children. She is survived by her loving children, Dymphna Coradazzi and her husband Daniel of Duluth, GA; Bernadette Trinks and her husband Christopher of Fuquay-Varina, NC; Maurya Hagert and her husband Jon of Niantic, CT; Catherine Jones and her husband Kenneth "KC" of Berlin, CT, Monica Ketchie and her husband Mark of Milledgeville, GA, William "Bill" Flanagan and his wife Lynn of Old Lyme and Clare Paskale and her husband Kevin of South Glastonbury, CT. She was very proud of her fifteen grandchildren, Jenna, Clare, Joshua, Justin, Audrey Rose, Katie, Sarah, Danny, Heather, Shannon, Connor, Michael, Liam, Julia, and Patrick, and her delightful twenty great-grandchildren who called her G.G.

After graduating from Saint Clare's Nursing School in Manhattan, New York City, with her Bachelor of Nursing and receiving her RN licensure, Catherine was a practicing nurse for many years in the hospital setting. After her move to Norwich, CT, she worked the night shift at a local convalescent home to ensure her children participated in their many after-school activities. Catherine immensely enjoyed gardening and was a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut's Master Gardener program. Catherine was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed watching all the games and talking statistics with her family.
