Obituary of Donald L. Maricle

Donald L. Maricle, 89, of Glastonbury passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Manchester Manor. He was the beloved husband of the late Priscilla (Thompson) Maricle.

Born in New York City, May 20, 1933, Don was the son of the late V. Neal and Martha (Knight) Maricle. He graduated from Wesleyan University and earned his PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  He worked for many years in the fuel cell division of United Technologies.   Don and Priscilla were active members of St. James Episcopal Church.  When they were not engaged with Glastonbury friends and community activities they enjoyed spending summers in Plymouth, MA.

Surviving are his three sons Steven Maricle of Glastonbury, Peter Maricle and his wife Amy of MA, Timothy Maricle and his wife Victoria of VA, his twin sister Martha A. Maricle of CA, and his six grandchildren Benjamin, Christopher, Evan, Leah, Kadin and Alexander Maricle.
