Obituary of Brenda J. Cassidy

Brenda J. Cassidy (Rosol) went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 after an 8 month battle with ALS.

Born in New Hampshire & later moving to Windsor, CT Mom graduated in 1966 from Windsor High School. Brenda went on to work for her mother's downtown Hartford restaurant, "Dot's" along with the family package store in Willimantic. She also worked for AARP Pharmacy in Hartford, CT. Brenda then worked at Glastonbury Town Hall in the clerk’s office in the late 1980's before retiring in 2002. Brenda loved to travel, shop, was always beautifully dressed & had all the shoes, scarves, bags and pins to match. Brenda had a love for Keno's Animal Sanctuary & was a huge supporter of Israel. Brenda was an avid Pats, Celtics & Red Sox fan. She was a devout Christian & member of Crossroads Cathedral (First Assembly Of God) for over 36 years. Mom was very appreciative of the CT ALS Association for all of their help & support that they provided & a special thank you to Michelle. Brenda also grew fond of her nurse Nicole who did a fantastic job with her along with her massage therapist, Brooke.

She leaves behind a son, Dennis, daughter Kathleen (Darrel) who were her fulltime caregivers. She also leaves two grandchildren, Brenda & Frankie who she helped raise & absolutely adored. Brenda was pre deceased by her husband Dennis, mother Dorothy (Patkus) Rosol father John, grandmother Ida, sister Janet Hall & her beloved Aunt Pat.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00 am in Silver Lane Cemetery , 1480 Silver Lane, East Hartford. There are no calling hours. For online condolences, please visit www.mulryanfh.com.
