Mike, Amy and Lauren, I'm so very sorry to hear of your devastation; I was so sad to hear this news. Denise was such a bright light here at Memorial School! I began working here in 2009 and spent some time helping out in her classroom. She had such a light-hearted way of communicating with her students. I'll never forget the phrase she used to use when someone was "off-task". She'd say, "Are you on a coffee break?" and the kids would crack up but then know it was time to get back to their job. I use that phrase in my classroom to this day, and think of her fondly every time! Sending you positive thoughts and prayers for the road ahead. My deepest condolences, Ashley Labbe

Mike and Family: We are so very sorry to hear of Denise's passing. The best kindergarten teacher there ever was, and the most caring, kind and nuturing individual. I am so happy she was our daughter and son's kindergarten teacher, and that we could kindle a relationship with her...still through the many years. Heaven has gained the truest angel. May your memories warm your hearts forever. Denise and Mark Nowakowski
