My deepest condolences sent to Jane and the entire Roby clan. I am profoundly sad to learn of Christian's passing. He was far too vibrant and young to be taken from us so young. God must have had other plans for him. Godspeed to him and healing prayers sent to his family. I cherish the years we spent together. He was an amazing soul and he was loved.

Dear Chris, we have known each other since elementary school. I am deeply pained by your loss as I’m sure so many others are. We shared the same taste in music and often talked about “roots reggea.” We planned to meet up and see a show, decided not to go but meet up for a coffee later. At Conard high school I looked forward to seeing you most every day in our class. You always had something very funny to say or some thing clever and interesting up your sleeve. My condolences to the Roby family. Chris worked for me while serving on USS Monterey CG-61,One of my best workers in deck dept. I remember we went golfing and he showed up with a sea bag and 4 clubs and later drove the golf cart into the pond. My thoughts prayers are with you all. BMCS (SW) Karl J Kubasa

Andrew, Jeff, Jane & all the Roby family. My sincerest condolences to you all. I grew up with Chris as Tom & Gerry were more like my parents. We spent many weekends at POW. I will forever be grateful to him for all he did for Gerry after the passing of his dad. Chris was an amazing human and he will be missed by many.
