Oh Kenny, there are truly NO WORDS. I am SO SAD to hear of your passing. You have always been Uncle Kenny to me, my sister and our kids. We looked forward to seeing you each holiday and could always count on you for a real laugh! You were an integral part of our wedding ceremony and Sean and I have always been SO GRATEFUL. I will always cherish our times together. You will truly be missed. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Our Dearest Kenny,
There are ABSOLUTELY no words to help heal the pain your family must be feeling. We are so sorry.
We are in complete shock. The holiday dinners have not been the same without you. We always had hope that you’d join us again soon. You are among the kindest men we have ever met. I have always enjoyed looking at your photographs, and could never decide which one to frame each holiday season. Eddie still shares stories about all the carpooling adventures you guys shared driving to work together all those years. Kenny, we will forever keep your loving smile in our hearts and prayers. You are one in a million.
All Our Love,
Karen & Eddie

I met Ken through our camera club when I joined in 2013. Ken would always greet you with a big smile even when suffering with pain. He was always helpful to everyone and who could not enjoy his hilarious email jokes. I will not forget Ken he meant a lot and did a lot for the club and all it’s members. He will be missed. Rest In Peace my friend. My deepest condolences to Ken’s family. God bless you all.

I worked with Ken at LaGuardia for Delta. Even after I left quite a few years ago we kept in touch swapping photos and talking airplanes. He was a great photographer and gave me a lot of good advice. My condolences to his family. RIP Ken.

Ken and I went all through grammar school together at St Leo’s in Irvington NJ. Luckily with the discovery of FB we were able to reconnect years ago! We enjoyed many conversations about our past experiences and our lives now and similar outlooks on life! He was a talented photographer and my husband is an amateur watercolor artist and we would compliment each other’s work. Please accept my sincere sympathy Lauren and keep his photos safe! Your son Liam does resemble his “ Paw-paw” from my memories of the past.

Ken & I graduated together from St. Leo's Grammar School in Irvington, NJ. We then went on to Essex Catholic HS in Newark.
Ken left there in our junior year and went on to graduate from Irvington HS. We were neighbors, my street (Allen St.) intersected with his (Orange Ave). I remember running into him after he transferred out of ECHS and talking about the physical abuse that was so prominent among the Irish Christian Brothers and how it caused him to get out while he could.
Later in life we connected on the interwebs and he had no recollection of our chats on Orange Avenue before we both went into active duty. So it goes.
It's sad that so many of our classmates from St. Leo's are "moving on." I enjoyed our times together in Irvington and I want to extend my condolences to Ken's immediate family and all his friends. Rest easy, buddy, and save me a spot in line up there.
Arthur Sharon.

For many years I was involved with competitions and critiques at the Nassau County Camera Club. Once the digital age caught up with the club there were new hurdles to jump over. My fondest memories were the monthly digital competitions which would never have happened if it weren’t for Ken. Long before competition night Ken would have to gather all the entries for that month and process them into a program that was written by someone from another club; it was always uncertain if it would work properly. Each month was a new adventure with things that could go wrong too numerous to mention.
I was there sitting next to him and through it all, he was a true professional in the mold of an airline pilot. No matter what happened, save the occasional swear word, Ken kept flying the plane and never gave up. He made me laugh and we never had to abandon a single competition.
I was fascinated with all the things he knew about Long Island and often encouraged him to write a book about his experiences. I enjoyed the designer showcases at several historic sites where he was a docent. He always added more context to the occasion and brought you back in time. He seemed to have a relevant story for every venue.
He was my window to the past; I will miss the stories.
