It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating Bill & Joyce's 50th wedding anniversary. I can't believe you are gone, Billy. But you will never be forgotten. We will cherish our memories of you and re-tell your stories often. Rest in peace. All our love to Joyce, Charlene, Alan, and the LaBorne family.

We came to know Bill, Joyce, Charlie, Richard, Audrey et al on Sea Girt, NJ beach through his sister Barbara (LaBorne) King and her late husband John.
Bill always had a quick smile, a wonderful demeanor and loved sharing an opinion or an interesting story. We were so impressed by his easy calm persona and his love for America.
May he rest in Jesus' arms for eternity....he won't need any wasp spray where he is going!

Mr. Laborne to me was this larger than life tall father of my best friend Charlie-girl of 40 yrs. I remember vividly his bellowing voice through the house "Charlie". He had a larger than life smile and distinct laugh. When my beloved father died in 2000, I will never forget I was greeted in the condolence line at my father's service by Mr. Laborne with tears in his eyes. He was one of very few ppl one of few persons I saw that day out-of friends & family who cried to me to show his grief for my loss. It was 22 yrs ago and I will never forget how this big strong man who could fix or make anything, this tall stong father cared about my pain. That is how I remember Mr. LaBorne, as a tall, strong, jovial, Dad, with a big laugh and a big heart. Just like his wife and daughter. I'm very sorry for your loss. I loved yall my entire life and I am grateful to God you all had so many years together in love. Keeping you in my prayers. Sending my love from my family. Always ❤ Andrea Edmonds

Billy was my best friend and the Best Man in our wedding. His sense of humor could not be beat. Along with making meatloaf on the engine block, he made the best grilled cheese sandwich on a wire hanger in front of a motel bathroom heater. Mary Lou and I are grateful for the wonderful memories and friendship. Love you Billy and Joyce. Rest In Peace dear friend.

No one could have asked for a better brother. He was my best friend and taught me so much about life and fixing anything that was broken. He and I put a transmission in his car when I was 14. He was my "go to" guy whenever I needed anything.
I am grateful for the time we got to spend together over the past couple of months. He will always be known for his wonderful smile and ability to make people laugh. Rest in Peace dear brother.

I will never forget the interesting stories Bill loved to tell, and his sense of humor. I think the best was the carburetor meatloaf. I'll miss you, Bill.
